Hrithik Roshan was born on 10th January , 1974 in Mumbai, India. Hrithik is also known by his nick name Duggu, son of actress Pinky and actor Rakesh Roshan, who was himself the son of a well-known film-music director Roshan. Rakesh after some years caught the line of film producer and director. Hrithik has a vestigial thumb on right hand and his height is of 5 feet 11 inches i.e. 180 centimeters. At the age of 21, he had suffered from diagnose with scoliosis and was strictly informed that he could never ever dance and do all the things that a Bollywood actor required to do. He caught the hand of his high-school sweetheart Suzanne Khan who is the daughter of actor-director Sanjay Khan and sister of well-known actor Zayed Khan.
Hrithik and Suzanne, they both got their first gift , that every parents in world wished to have was in face of a baby boy who stepped his life in world on March 28, 2006, at 3:08pm in Lilavati Hospital, in Mumbai, India. As per the naming ceremony he was named Rayhaan. Stepping his (Hrithik) career in acting extended the Roshan family’s role in Bollywood to the third generation. Being as a child artist, his first movie was Aaha (’80) when he was just six yrs old and played a role of a extra dancing boy. He too, appeared in Aap ki Deewane in same year and in Bhagwan Dada (’86). Hrithik is a determined and has build-up a v-shape body.
Hrithik debuted his first film as a youngster in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (’00) which was directed by his father, opposite the starlet Amisha Patel and not only it was a successful film at box office but also a highest grossing movie of ’00 . By his up-star performance, in the same year Hrithik gave his appearance in Fiza and Mission Kashmir which was not at the height of success. In the starting year of ’01 Hrithik shooted Subash Ghai film Yaadein. While shooting film Yaadein Hrithik saved the life of Director and Producer Subash Ghai from drowning. And the film was again at the point of disappointment. But it was very well recovery of Hrithik when he played a role in film of Yash Johar ‘ Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham ’ opposite Shahrukh Khan and Kajol which gave blasting performance at box office and also became the second highest grossing movie of ’01. The year of ’02 was at a great height of difficulties for Hrithik , since he has to face as a failure when his all three movies released and from those the two films much hyped Na Tum Jaano Na Hum & Mujhse Dosti Karoge!. Hrithik had also played a male lead role in Koi… Mil Gaya, which was directed by his father and was again the highest grosser movie in ’03.
In the year of ’04 Hrithik had only one release ‘ Lakshya’ directed by Farhan Akhtar which was at average in box office but Hrithik’s performance was appreciated by critics. Taking two-year break Hrithik prepared himself as a super hero for movie Krrish (which was the sequel of Koi… Mil Gaya (’03) ) and was released in June (’06) which was once again directed by his father Rakesh Roshan and at box office Krrish was hugely rewarded as successful. Not Only this, Dhoom 2 ( a sequel of Dhoom in(’04) super hit ) has also represented his acting talent and mind blowing attitude which has resulted the movie into big profitable film of the year. In this film he plays for the first time a villain role and will be releasing in November (’06).
Hrithik is also a highest paying Bollywood Actor as Anil Ambani owned Adlabs group has signed Rs. 35 Cores contract with him for acting in 3 films.
